Pat and Ellie Mullins are the owners of P. + E. Bottle Shop, a specialty wine shop rooted in community, curiosity, and hospitality, located in the heart of Three Oaks, Michigan.

After eight wonderful years of running Patellie’s, their beloved pizzeria next door, Pat and Ellie closed the restaurant on December 31, 2025, to fully focus on the next chapter of their work together: growing P. + E. Bottle Shop into an even more thoughtful, welcoming space for wine, cider, beer, and provisions. While the pizza ovens have cooled, the spirit of gathering, sharing, and feeding people well remains at the core of everything they do.

Their love for wine has always been intertwined with food, travel, and the growers and makers who dedicate their lives to the land. At P. + E. Bottle Shop, that passion shows up in a carefully curated selection of old- and new-world wines, hard ciders, and craft beers—bottles chosen not just for quality, but for the stories, places, and people behind them. As the shop continues to evolve, they look forward to offering a small, thoughtful selection of provisions and prepared foods designed to pair beautifully with what’s in the bottle.

Ellie brings over 20 years of experience in hospitality and restaurants, along with deep personal roots in wine through her family vineyard and winery in Healdsburg, California. She shares her knowledge with warmth and ease, believing wine should feel inviting, approachable, and joyful—never intimidating.

Pat, a native Chicagoan, studied at the Chicago Cooking and Hospitality Institute and honed his craft in restaurants known for exceptional wine programs, including Blackbird (Chicago), Hungry Cat (Santa Barbara), and Pizzeria Delfina (San Francisco). His curiosity for wine is endless, driven by a love of history, culture, and the human stories that shape what’s in the glass.

In their home—and in their shop—wine is a way of life. A way to connect. A way to travel. And most of all, a way to bring people together.
